Ivan Levy

Professional Experience

Ivan Levy is a Partner at IntLaw LLP and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). His practice focuses on international contractual and treaty-based arbitration, acting in complex proceedings across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East under all major international arbitration rules.


Ivan has represented private parties, investors, and States in disputes arising from projects involving aggregate investments approaching USD 3 billion. His experience spans renewable energy, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, desalination, and financial services, and includes numerous commercial and post-M&A arbitrations.

Academic and Thought Leadership

Ivan regularly lectures at Bucerius Law School, Leiden Law School, and the University of Buenos Aires Law School.


Drawing on his experience as a World Champion of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, he regularly conducts advanced workshops on written and oral advocacy and is a member of the Global Advisory Board of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot (FDI Moot).


As part of his ongoing practice, Ivan speaks at international conferences and publishes in leading international law journals on a regular basis.

Education and Professional Qualifications

Ivan holds a Law Degree from the University of Buenos Aires Law School and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Fulbright Scholar, graduating with honours from both institutions. Ivan is barred in Buenos Aires and New York.
